Here’s my compilation of videos I took at the WRC 2009 Round 10 Repco Rally Australia. Good viewing points were hard to come by due to stingy land owners afraid of people hurting their fences and the police/organisers had to stop people from going into the stages to find better spots due to a group of environmentalists trying to cause accidents so they could try acuse the event of damaging “their” environment. The WRC organisers and local councils put in plenty of investigation to see the impact this event would have on the rally and the outcome of that was that it would be minimal if any! Animals don’t run towards loud noises they run away from it and theres plenty of bushland and forest for them to go into. The first day saw 50-60 cars run through a small selection of roads and the following days saw even less cars running through a different selection of roads. The animals will move back closer to the roads once the cars have passed. If you have any REAL proof of animals been hurt and not something you ran over or footage u recorded months or even years ago I’d really like to see it. Over 50000+ tickets were reported to be sold and a big group of the local Kyogle and Murwillumbah residents were in these ticket sales. Only a small group of people tried to make this rally unenjoyable for a much larger group of people locally, nationally and from around the world who came to see this beautiful part of Australia and provide millions of dollars in accommodation, food …
